Tammy Donroe Inman is an author, freelance writer, and cooking instructor. Her debut cookbook, Wintersweet: Seasonal Desserts to Warm the Home, received rave reviews from The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, USA Today, Library Journal, Publisher’s Weekly, and The Kitchn. A graduate of Tufts University and the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, Inman sharpened her knives in the test kitchen of Cook’s Illustrated magazine and the PBS television show America’s Test Kitchen. After that, she worked as a writer and editor for Boston magazine, and later her own blog, Food on the Food. Inman’s work has also been featured in Fine Cooking, Parents, Yankee Magazine, The Boston Globe, Cape Cod Life, and Serious Eats. When she’s not in the kitchen, she’s usually wandering around the woods or reading in her rooftop garden. She lives outside Boston with her husband, two teen sons, and a pair of surprisingly high-maintenance cats.
